Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to enhance our market presence. This role is pivotal in expanding our customer base by maintaining relationships with existing clients and pursuing new business opportunities through proactive outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth and market penetration for Dal-Tile products within the designated region.
  • Conduct regular sales visits to existing customers while actively seeking new clients through cold calling.
  • Prepare and submit weekly sales and call reports to track progress and strategize future efforts.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Research and understand local market preferences to tailor sales strategies effectively.
  • Achieve sales targets while adhering to company margin guidelines.
  • Complete necessary documentation for all sales activities, including follow-ups and customer interactions.
  • Deliver product knowledge seminars to enhance customer understanding and engagement.
  • Utilize reporting tools to monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma is required; some college education is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • A clean driving record and reliable transportation are essential.
  • A minimum of four years of sales experience is required, with a background in customer service being advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Self-driven with the capability to work autonomously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including negotiation and influencing abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:
