Position Summary:
An Outside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in actively seeking, acquiring, and nurturing relationships with clients to promote and sell the company's offerings. This position involves fieldwork, engaging with clients face-to-face, and may require significant travel to achieve sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and investigate potential clients within the assigned territory. Generate leads through various channels, including cold outreach, networking, referrals, and online research.
- Product Expertise: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activities to effectively communicate advantages to clients.
- Market Analysis: Regularly assess market dynamics, customer requirements, and competitor strategies to pinpoint opportunities and challenges.
- Sales Engagement: Conduct face-to-face meetings, deliver compelling sales presentations, and demonstrate products to prospective clients. Tailor presentations to address specific client needs.
- Negotiation: Engage in discussions regarding terms and pricing with clients to finalize sales agreements. Successfully close sales and secure client commitments.
- Client Management: Foster and maintain client relationships, attract new prospects, ensure client satisfaction, and address any issues that arise.
- Customer Support: Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally to uphold high satisfaction levels.
- Sales Goals: Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas, devising strategies to surpass company expectations.
- Travel Requirements: Travel within the designated sales territory to meet clients, attend trade shows, and engage in industry events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated success in sales, preferably in an outside sales capacity.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work autonomously.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools.
- A valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
- Results-driven and self-motivated with a focus on achieving sales goals.
- Adaptable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in the convenience store, vape, and tobacco sectors is essential.
- Background in B2B sales is advantageous.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Salary: $4,200 per month
Supplemental Pay: Commission
