Job Title: Chief Information Officer

KPC GLOBAL MEDICAL CENTERS INC. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Information Officer to lead the strategic direction, development, and implementation of information technology systems, security, and services within our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage technology budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to optimize costs and maximize value for the organization.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, clinical operations teams, and IT experts to achieve our goals.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare-specific regulations, such as HIPAA and HITECH Act, and security standards for electronic health information.
  • Oversee and improve systemwide contracts, reducing costs and redundant systems.
  • Optimize infrastructure, performance, and risk mitigation.
  • Enhance employee development, cross-training, and task management.
  • Plan and lead system upgrades, producing GANT charts with project milestones.
  • Integrate healthcare technology and informatics into clinical workflows, optimizing delivery, outcomes, and management.
  • Empower and motivate staff, manage stress and conflict, and develop a foundation of mutual respect and trust.
  • Participate in programs promoting workplace diversity and positive employee relations.
  • Ensure technological resources meet short and long-term needs.
  • Direct the design, development, and deployment of innovative technology solutions.
  • Ensure security, reliability, scalability, and performance of technology infrastructure and systems.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the company's technology roadmap, aligning it with organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in healthcare IT leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving IT transformation, innovation, and EHR system implementation.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, standards, and best practices, including HIPAA, HITECH, and Meaningful Use requirements.
  • Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, EHR systems, telehealth solutions, cybersecurity, data analytics, and emerging technologies relevant to healthcare delivery.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering measurable business value and improving patient outcomes through technology-enabled solutions.
