Job Overview:

The GTB Delivery Team within the TDS Data, Delivery and Integration group is accountable for the comprehensive delivery of projects that affect the Global Transaction Banking (GTB) division of TD Securities (TDS). Projects in this domain will support various business-driven, regulatory, and industry initiatives. To fulfill this mandate, the team collaborates closely with stakeholder groups across TD, including members from GTB businesses, GTB technology, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Payments Technology, and others.

As a Senior Vice President, Agile Transformation, you will be instrumental in guiding your teams to adopt suitable agile methodologies that enhance their effectiveness and efficiency. You will play a crucial role in facilitating the Agile development process and empowering our teams to deliver high-quality products within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading Agile Delivery for intricate initiatives across multiple teams, utilizing appropriate agile practices and integrating various delivery methodologies for optimal impact.
  • Promoting a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
  • Driving continuous improvement and eliminating obstacles at the program level.
  • Mentoring junior scrum masters.
  • Facilitating all scrum meetings, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, and Retrospective.
  • Coaching and mentoring technology and product leaders on the effective application of agile principles.
Qualifications / Skills / Experience
  • 7+ years of experience as a scrum master for multiple agile development teams and leading complex initiatives in an agile setting.
  • Experience with various delivery methodologies and the ability to blend them as necessary.
  • Experience with cloud enablement initiatives and achieving successful outcomes in highly technical environments.
  • Demonstrated deep practical understanding of multiple frameworks (scrum and Kanban), agile values, and principles.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence stakeholders, including Product and Technology Leaders.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, leveraging extensive experience to navigate and resolve complex challenges and team dynamics.
  • Proven track record of utilizing agile metrics effectively.
  • Ability to forecast and plan using agile practices.
  • Advanced agile certifications such as CSP, PSM-3, ICP-ACC are advantageous.
  • Experience in Global Transaction Banking is a plus.
