The Role: As a Senior Vice President, you will report directly to the Executive Vice President (EVP) and will play a crucial role in supporting the EVP and Senior Staff in all facets of campaign management, research, and analysis.
- Engaging and conducting meetings with state and city elected officials, regulators, and stakeholders to promote client interests.
- Creating innovative and comprehensive campaign strategies to achieve client objectives.
- Communicating directly with clients to update them on progress, discuss strategies, and prepare for meetings.
- Drafting and refining content, including policy briefs, presentations, testimonies, speeches, and other external communications materials.
- Collaborating with Shontell Smith and other team members to enhance Tusk's presence in New York by identifying business opportunities.
- Assisting with new business proposals by developing creative ideas and strategies.
- Demonstrating excellent research capabilities and the ability to monitor legislative developments.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.
What We Seek:
- A minimum of 7 years of political and policy experience, including senior roles within the New York State Legislature, NYC Council, or other governmental entities. Additional experience may include public affairs agencies, in-house roles, or political and issue advocacy campaigns.
- Demonstrated success in campaigns or projects that illustrate how your contributions led to favorable policy, regulatory, legislative, or political outcomes.
- Previous experience in New York City and state politics.
- Exceptional writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.

The salary range for this position is expected to be between $150,000 and $190,000 per year. However, the base salary offered may vary based on various factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and business needs.
