Position Summary

We are seeking to hire a Consultant (junior/mid-level) to join our dynamic team within the public sector. In this capacity, you will assist, contribute to, and/or lead initiatives for clients across federal, state, and local government levels, aiding them in achieving their mission objectives. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate with senior government officials and engage in high-profile projects.

Impact of Your Work

Your contributions will be vital in assisting public sector organizations in addressing their most intricate challenges. You will be responsible for identifying critical business inquiries and hypotheses, delivering insights and recommendations that will guide significant government-wide policies and decisions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Consultant, you will:

  • Lead problem-solving efforts and data analysis for client engagements.
  • Deliver presentations to clients and manage relationships, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership on business development and strategic initiatives to foster growth.
Client Engagement

Your role will involve:

  • Identifying key business questions to provide insights to decision-makers.
  • Engaging with project teams and clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Acting as a champion for the client, serving as a trusted advisor.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree; a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years in management consulting or experience addressing complex challenges, particularly with the US Federal Government.
  • Relevant education in fields such as business administration, public administration, organizational development, or data analysis.
  • Experience in areas including strategic planning, organizational performance, human capital strategy, digital services, shared services, IT management, and data analytics.
  • Strong leadership, communication (both oral and written), analytical, and collaborative skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques is a plus.
  • Exceptional writing and editing abilities.
  • Eligibility to work in the US and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Preference will be given to candidates in the DC Metro area or those planning to relocate at their own expense.
