The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos is seeking a Records Management Strategist Analyst to contribute to one of our essential programs. This role involves supporting various tasks, including the development and analysis of requirements, designing survey instruments, gathering and interpreting data, and presenting findings. Responsibilities also encompass evaluating legislative mandates, researching relevant Federal Government laws and policies, coordinating Department of Defense (DoD) policies and plans, and addressing issues arising from reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess needs, formulate alternatives and courses of action, and provide recommendations for future directions.
  • Track the progress of DoD Information and Records Management strategic initiatives and prepare regular status updates.
  • Assist the organization with tasks related to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and support the government in analyzing NARA requirements.
  • Prepare summary reports on monthly evaluations of ongoing project deliverables.
  • Aid in the development or revision of supplementary guidance and communication materials.
  • Support efforts to effectively communicate the organization's records management vision and strategy to achieve programmatic objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to draft or revise guidance and communication products that aid in the development or revision of records management policies and procedures.
  • Utilize advanced records management knowledge and professional principles to create innovative concepts, techniques, solutions, and standards.
  • Communicate with senior executive leadership regarding strategic matters affecting the organization, often negotiating to gain acceptance of concepts and practices.
  • Provide technical advice that influences Records Management strategies and client outputs, developing new solutions and operational plans to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead large, complex projects as requested by Leidos or clients.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of complex issues to identify underlying problems and root causes, improving existing solutions and processes through critical reasoning and interpretation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with federal Records Management Strategy and management practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in developing and delivering clear, concise written materials related to Records Management implementation.
  • U.S. Citizenship with an active Top Secret (TS)/SCI clearance.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience interacting with senior Government leaders and presenting information/decision briefings.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Background in federal organizations and engagement with senior civilian and military personnel.
  • Experience in organizational change management.

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is $87,000 to $157,450. This range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Factors influencing the offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
