TEKsystems is on the lookout for a dedicated individual to become a part of their Technical Support Team. If you have a strong desire to assist customers through virtual channels, this position may be an excellent fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing incoming calls (60%) while also addressing daily responsibilities, service queues, project assignments, and documentation tasks (40%).
- 1-2 years of experience in a help desk or service desk environment.
- Covid-19 vaccination is required.
- Successful completion of a Drug Test.
- Clear Background Check.
- Monday to Friday, with hours from 6am to 2:30pm.
- Training period of two weeks:
- First week - Knowledge transfer without live phone responsibilities.
- Second week - Shadowing an experienced team member while taking on phone duties.
In this role, you will be tasked with delivering technical assistance via phone and chat, diagnosing hardware and software challenges, leveraging knowledge base resources, and providing solutions in a customer-centric manner. Efficiently triaging problems, utilizing solution tools, and escalating issues when necessary are vital components of this position.
Typical support inquiries include password resets for encryption and active directory, remote access questions, software installation requests, printer configuration, and troubleshooting Microsoft applications such as Windows 10, O365, Active Directory, Outlook, and Teams. Familiarity with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and mobile device support is also advantageous.
