We are currently in search of a Construction Materials Specialist (CMT Field Technician) to become a vital part of our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field observations and perform materials sampling/testing during the construction of various structures, including buildings, bridges, and roadways. Assess construction materials such as asphalt, soils, reinforcing steel, concrete, masonry, and paving.
  • Execute construction materials testing (CMT) services on-site.
  • Engage in quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) inspections on construction projects.
  • Oversee field inspections and testing of construction materials, including concrete, masonry, asphalt, soils, and reinforcing steel.
  • Analyze project plans and specifications to ascertain contractor construction requirements.
  • Compile daily reports and other documentation regarding contractor performance.
  • Identify and report deficiencies to supervisors and clients.
  • Maintain effective and professional communication with on-site personnel and engineering teams.
  • Adhere to all relevant health and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record background check.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test.
  • Willingness to travel locally frequently; some overnight travel within the region may be required.

  • ACI Field Concrete Technician Certification
  • ATTI Field Technician Certification
  • ATTI Soils and Aggregate Certification
  • ATTI Asphalt Certification
  • ACI Compressive Strength Certification
  • Radiation Safety Certification
