Role Responsibilities
As a Technical Support Specialist on the Sortation Systems team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues reported by our internal customers or detected by our monitoring systems. This involves collaborating with development teams to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions.
- Identifying and documenting trends that affect operations or create unnecessary workloads, along with providing recommendations and developing strategies to address recurring issues.
- Creating standard operating procedures and self-help documentation to empower our customers to resolve their issues efficiently.
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of our software suite and its underlying infrastructure to effectively triage and resolve issues while maintaining system integrity.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in software development or technical support.
• Proficiency in scripting with modern programming languages.
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with web services, distributed systems, and web application development.
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining hardware and software RAID configurations.
• Knowledge of REST web services, XML, and JSON.
