Position Summary

The Sales Account Executive is tasked with identifying potential clients, prospecting, and selling temporary roll-off services, portable restrooms, and portable storage solutions to commercial customers. This role also involves cultivating, maintaining, and expanding long-term relationships with clients to enhance revenue and achieve monthly profit growth targets aligned with the Company’s objectives.

Reporting Structure

Reports to the Business Development Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential leads, manage prospects, and secure all lines of temporary services available in the market, including roll-off, portable restrooms, and portable storage, to surpass monthly profit growth goals.
  • Generate and deliver sales leads for permanent sales opportunities to the appropriate sales representative to capture additional revenue.
  • Communicate pricing adjustments effectively to the customer base.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of available services, pricing structures, and sell to existing and prospective commercial and industrial clients to grow targeted revenue and contribute to Company goals.
  • Enhance visibility and build relationships through participation in Company-sponsored activities; attend trade shows, chamber of commerce events, and other relevant gatherings.
  • Respond promptly to all inquiries from customers and prospective clients.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2-3 years of experience in Sales or direct selling.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal and presentation abilities.
  • Effective time management skills to ensure responsibilities are completed efficiently.
  • Strong active listening skills; attentive to others, understanding their points, and asking relevant questions.
  • Quick to grasp concepts with excellent follow-through; adheres to schedules and maintains a positive outlook.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic; competitive with a drive to achieve goals and take calculated risks.
  • Trustworthy, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • High energy, friendly, and engaging; possesses excellent persuasion skills.
  • Service-oriented, actively seeking ways to assist others.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to sit, use hands, reach with arms, and communicate verbally.
  • Occasionally required to stand and walk.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Some travel may be necessary.
