Position Objective

With numerous Lindt Chocolate Shops across the country, our retail teams are essential in providing exceptional service and a high-quality experience to our clientele. It requires a dedicated, enthusiastic, and proactive individual to engage our customers effectively with every interaction. Your enthusiasm for Lindt, understanding of our products, and dedication to our brand will ensure customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Performance

Contribute consistently to the store's success in meeting or surpassing sales targets by delivering outstanding customer service, showcasing product knowledge, and employing Lindt-specific sales techniques.
  • Exhibit a clear understanding and commitment to the store's sales objectives on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Regularly achieve or exceed personal sales metrics such as Average Dollar Sale (ADS), conversion rates, and other performance indicators.
  • Uphold Lindt standards through daily activities, including adherence to dress code, upselling, and maintaining a sales-oriented focus.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to achieving store goals by actively promoting current marketing initiatives and utilizing available resources to enhance sales activities.
  • Identify and report customer or product concerns to management promptly and professionally.
Operational Excellence

As a member of the store team, take responsibility and actively engage in maintaining operational standards and controls.
  • Manage cash handling processes (POS, documentation, vendor logs, policies, and procedures).
  • Proactively restock shelves as necessary, ensuring product date codes and pricing are monitored.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks as directed to uphold store cleanliness.
  • Adhere to all Quality Assurance policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Skills and Knowledge

  • Ability to engage positively with customers.
  • Basic mathematical and accounting skills.
  • Capacity to follow directions and execute tasks efficiently.
Experience

  • Previous retail experience, ideally in a specialty retail setting.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 35 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Capability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with arms.
Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Additional Requirements

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
