HCRC is seeking a Human Resources Specialist (Federal) with a background in the Federal Government for a fast-paced, energetic, federal agency. This position requires an incumbent to apply skills for assistant managers and program staff in the full range of Federal HR processes.

Position is Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare job analysis, drafting job announcements, issuing certificates of eligible candidates, and communicating with hiring managers and customers throughout the hiring process.
  • Process personnel action requests for a wide variety of recruitment and placement actions following the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) Guide to Processing Personnel Actions (GPPA) and agency policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Use a tracking/intake system to ensure all actions are processed timely and a status of pending actions can be immediately provided upon request.
  • Input, edit and update HR information into the integrated NFC payroll and personnel system. Identify and resolve issues concerning personnel and payroll data, including special pay and benefits entitlements and withholdings.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must have extensive background in staffing and placement on the Federal Government level.
  • Must have excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to perform job analyses.
  • Must have demonstrated experience with NFC and PAR processing.
  • Must have demonstrated experience in EPIC Web.
  • Must be able to successfully pass security clearance process.
