Position Overview:
The Client Manager is entrusted with the comprehensive oversight of client accounts, typically ranging from 500 to 2,000 lives. This role serves as the primary liaison for clients, providing consultative guidance on contracts, plan structures, financial inquiries, renewal processes, and the resolution of claim issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Management: Collaborate with the implementation team to grasp the parameters of sold cases, ensuring a seamless transition post-implementation. Maintain continuous communication with clients through proactive visits and calls to foster strong relationships.
  • Client Education: Offer ongoing education regarding company processes, policies, and services, ensuring clients are well-informed about product enhancements.
  • Performance Oversight: Monitor compliance with performance guarantees and work closely with internal departments to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Claims Reporting: Deliver clear and comprehensive Claims Experience Reporting to clients, including conducting annual stewardship meetings.
  • Sales Collaboration: Partner with sales representatives to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, as well as preparing and presenting renewal proposals.
  • Administrative Duties: Adhere to best practices and standard operating procedures while identifying areas for improvement in client satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in group insurance account management
  • Exceptional customer service and strong negotiation skills
  • Thorough understanding of group insurance products and state regulations
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
