Position Overview

As an Aspiring Retail Operations Leader, you will play a crucial role in guiding and nurturing both management and hourly associates within the facility. Your responsibilities will encompass hiring, training, mentoring, and evaluating performance to foster a productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Development: Provide supervision and growth opportunities for associates by mentoring and assigning duties, while also ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Open Communication: Uphold the Company's Open Door Policy by actively engaging with associates, addressing concerns, and providing effective resolutions.
  • Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies by holding associates accountable, analyzing reports, and implementing safety controls.
  • Community Engagement: Initiate and participate in outreach programs, establishing relationships with community members and representing the company positively.
  • Financial Performance: Drive the facility's financial success by achieving sales and profit goals, managing expenses, and developing budgets.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Model and enforce customer service standards to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues effectively.
  • Operational Leadership: Direct facility operations and communicate effectively with both management and associates regarding merchandising and company direction.
  • Sales Strategy: Enhance sales through effective merchandise presentation, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
Compensation and Benefits

At Walmart, we offer a competitive salary range of $85,000.00 - $105,000.00, along with performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years of general management experience with financial accountability.
  • 2 years of experience supervising a team of 20 or more associates.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field.
  • Experience managing a fresh or dry grocery area.
  • Supervisory experience with 50 or more associates.
