As a Warehouse Operations Leader, you will oversee the overall direction, guidance, and safety of our warehouse operations. Your priority will be the health and safety of our team members while driving productivity and efficiency goals. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives across various teams and projects, monitor progress, provide recommendations, and support implementation. Your leadership will help cultivate our ONE KDP culture by enhancing communication and performance management for onsite managers and team members, fostering their growth and development.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage diverse teams, focusing on talent acquisition, leadership development, career coaching, and warehouse supervision.
- Guide the team in resolving daily operational challenges to achieve both short- and long-term performance objectives while promoting a culture of urgency, integrity, and trust.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, practices, and standard operating procedures, including safety, food safety, and environmental regulations.
- Utilize data effectively to navigate various situations, demonstrating high emotional intelligence when assessing impacts on personnel.
- Collaborate with internal partners to meet customer demands and deliver exceptional service.
- Balance hands-on tactical work with strategic initiatives as needed.
- Manage challenging situations effectively, evaluating the best solutions for personnel, customers, and costs.
- Apply change management expertise while clearly communicating changes to frontline associates.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with 5 years of experience in a distribution center or DSD warehouse environment, or a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field with 3 years of experience in a distribution center or DSD warehouse environment.
- Previous leadership experience in a distribution center or operations setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
