Position Summary:
The Guest Services Representative plays a crucial role in establishing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients, visitors, staff, and healthcare professionals. This position is integral in supporting front desk volunteers and ensuring a seamless experience for all who enter the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist all guests, patients, and employees at the front desk.
- Manage check-in processes and provide accurate directions within the hospital and Professional Office Building (POB).
- Address patient inquiries, comments, or concerns in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with various departments to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Perform additional tasks as required to support the team and organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory; some college coursework is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in basic computer applications and telephone systems.
- Strong typing abilities and bilingual skills are highly valued.
- Capable of operating and troubleshooting standard office equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Ability to remain composed and courteous under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Critical thinking skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Must possess the ability to recognize faces, hear effectively in various environments, and see indicators from equipment.
