Qualifications

Education:

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Clinical Microbiology, or a related health science is required. A Master's degree in Nursing, Education, Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a health-related field is required. Experience in Infection Prevention or Epidemiology is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

License/Certification:

Current state licensure in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences, or a related health science is required. Eligibility for Infection Prevention certification within one year of employment is necessary.

Other:

Candidates must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patients of varying ages in the assigned unit or department.
