Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming inquiries from potential surgical patients through various channels including phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Provide detailed explanations of procedures, addressing patient questions while aligning with their aesthetic goals, following established protocols.
- Input new patient data into the electronic medical record system.
- Document all interactions with patients, ensuring accurate and updated records.
- Act as a communication bridge between patients and surgeons, facilitating consultations and addressing any concerns.
- Send welcome communications and guide patients to the online portal upon scheduling consultations.
- Follow up with patients regarding their decision-making process for scheduling consultations.
- Welcome new surgical consults, escorting them to examination areas, and assist during consultations by taking notes.
- Conduct facility tours for new patients.
- Generate and provide cost estimates for procedures, ensuring proper documentation in patient records.
- Calculate applicable discounts and deposits for scheduled surgeries.
- Handle patient payments, issue refunds, and record transactions accurately.
- Provide patients with pre-operative instructions and ensure they are documented in their charts.
- Assist patients with financing options as needed.
- Schedule all surgical procedures and pre-operative appointments, entering them into the system.
- Coordinate with external surgeons regarding their schedules when utilizing our operating room.
- Maintain the schedule for surgical providers.
- Ensure timely reminder communications are sent to patients prior to consultations.
- Collaborate with the operating room director to address any scheduling changes or concerns.
- Communicate pre-operative requirements to nursing staff as requested by physicians.
- Conduct daily follow-ups on patient inquiries, updating records and tracking progress.
- Generate reports as necessary for departmental metrics.
- Regularly review and manage the task list within the system.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $25.00 per hour plus a commission on surgeons' fees, with an estimated annual total earnings of $80,000 - $100,000 based on experience.
