Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Assist with patient assessments, vital signs, and other clinical tasks as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in unit-based resource teams to support high census fluctuation and staffing needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of an approved Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) program or proof of satisfactory completion of Fundamentals of Nursing for Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or a minimum of six months experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in area of specialty.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Flexibility and ability to work on multiple units.
  • Speaks and reads English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively work with peers and patients.
  • Exemplary customer service skills.
  • Ability to read, write legibly, speak in English (and Spanish preferred) with professional quality.
