Job Summary

CAMBA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employer Partnership Developer to join our team. As a key member of our Workforce Development and Refugee Services programs, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with potential employers in the NY Metro area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and initiate contact with potential employers to identify job openings and partnership opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain an accurate database of prospective employer contacts.
  • Build a pool of job openings in various sectors, including industries that match the skills and abilities of our diverse clientele.
  • Maintain excellent relationships and timely communication with potential employers.
  • Identify and source partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails, and visits.
  • Request current job openings from existing and potential employers, obtaining as much information as possible.
  • Work closely with Job Developers and WFD refugee professional staff to promote open positions and identify suitable candidates.
  • Develop employers with openings suitable to the skills and abilities of our diverse clientele.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate between Job Developers and hiring managers.
  • Request feedback from employers regarding client interviews and share with Job Developers.
  • Once a client is placed, periodically request documentation from employers to meet placement and retention requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior management and teammates to align internal goals with new and existing partner relationships.
  • Cultivate relationships with community partners and outside agencies to expand the department's capacity for education, outreach, and services.
  • Plan hiring events and execute logistics to support critical program components.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with current partners and offer new ways to grow the partnership.
  • Produce reports and regular updates for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) and/or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in employment services or social services-related fields.
  • Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to motivate and engage clients.
  • Preferred bilingual languages – Spanish, French/Creole, Ukrainian.
