Our Milwaukee, WI office is seeking a Receptionist to support our Client Service Associates and act as the primary point of contact for clients and visitors. The objective of the Receptionist is to deliver exceptional customer service to all individuals who engage with our firm.
This is an on-site position with a salary target of $46,000, commensurate with experience.
We establish our initial compensation target based on national compensation survey data, and we consider factors such as tenure, performance, and geographic location when extending an offer. We value open dialogue regarding compensation expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Reception Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service to both new and existing clients.
- Warmly welcome clients and notify staff of their arrival.
- Manage incoming client calls for appointments and service inquiries.
- Provide clients with information regarding their accounts.
- Perform data entry tasks.
- Handle document processing, including scanning and copying.
- Facilitate transactions such as money movements.
- Process check deposits.
- Prepare client reports.
- Maintain accurate databases.
- Oversee incoming and outgoing mail deliveries.
- Set up and maintain beverage stations for clients.
- Ensure the reception area is presentable for client visits.
- Keep the kitchen area tidy and ensure dishes are clean.
- Assist with various office projects as directed by management.
- High School Diploma or a 2-year degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of office or reception experience.
- Friendly, outgoing demeanor with a positive attitude.
- Professional appearance and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- Proficient in prioritizing tasks and managing workflow in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Adobe is a plus.
