Position Summary:
The Mad Science franchise is expanding its operations and is seeking an Operations Coordinator for our Milwaukee office. Ideal candidates will have experience in educational settings, such as daycare, teaching, or camp environments.


As a leader in STEM enrichment programming and entertainment, Mad Science has been inspiring children for over three decades. We are committed to providing a fulfilling work experience.


Key Responsibilities:
The Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Operations Manager. Responsibilities include:

  • Handling customer inquiries and booking programs via phone
  • Creating and assisting with print marketing materials, including flyers and advertisements
  • Supporting the administration of educational programs, camps, and events
  • Filling in as an instructor when necessary

Required Skills:
Successful candidates will possess:

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and follow minimal direction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • An energetic and engaging personality
  • A willingness to learn, with no specific science background required
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for outreach activities

Work Schedule:
We offer flexibility in scheduling, requiring 20-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM. Team members will also participate in a rotating weekend schedule, working Saturday mornings 1-2 times monthly.


Compensation:
