Job Title: Performance Management Specialist

Join the US Dept of State - NEA-SCA/EX team as a Performance Management Specialist. This role is responsible for refining key performance indicators (KPIs) and developing strategies for monitoring priority initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in advanced management and organizational skills, including the application of qualitative and quantitative methods to develop processes and measurable indicators for maintaining, improving, and assessing program effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Refine CARE KPIs and develop strategies for monitoring priority initiatives
  • Communicate relevant CARE progress and outcomes to stakeholders
  • Monitor CARE Office and contractor(s) compliance with Performance Strategy expectations, guidance, and metrics
  • Generate summary performance reports for CARE, including performance dashboards to support communication efforts
Requirements:
  • Expert knowledge of advanced management and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
  • Knowledge of current and emerging internal and external issues impacting on the operational environment of the enterprise
Working Conditions:

The contractor must be a United States citizen and granted a Secret security clearance prior to entry on duty and maintain such clearance throughout the period of employment. DOS will provide the professional service employee with a computer workstation and access to existing applications, adequate office space, and telephone service.
