Job Title: IT Systems Performance Specialist

HarmonyTech, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Systems Performance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our performance engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance of applications and databases on Azure Gov Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish database performance metrics and baseline performance of on-premises Sybase ASE databases.
  • Measure and fine-tune the performance of migrated databases in Azure Gov Cloud to exceed baseline performance measures.
  • Conduct database performance testing in different environments and identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Work with the cloud architect to determine Azure Gov Cloud resource and capacity requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on performance goals and requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least eight (8) years of professional work experience as a system performance tester.
  • At least three (3) years of experience with Sybase ASE Databases.
  • At least five (5) years of experience with Azure cloud services, with experience with Azure Gov Cloud preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in IT systems performance engineering.
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner and Apache JMeter is a must.
