Overview:
Join our dynamic team at BNY Mellon as a Senior Vice President, Client Relationship Management. This role is pivotal in fostering and enhancing our relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met while driving growth and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to manage and expand existing client relationships, focusing on revenue retention.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and enhancement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them towards achieving their strategic objectives.
  • Engage with established clients, typically smaller and more localized, to provide tailored solutions.
  • Support senior Relationship Managers on larger or more complex accounts to gain deeper insights and experience.
  • Serve as the primary advocate for clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Consult with clients to understand their strategic vision and how our services can facilitate their goals.
  • Promote our suite of services and products that address client challenges and foster account growth.
  • Conduct thorough research on client issues and work towards effective resolutions.
  • Oversee specific processes or products as assigned, ensuring expert knowledge and management.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and alignment with our offerings.
  • Continuously assess client needs to ensure ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
  • Develop and track relationship strategies and results for your client portfolio.
  • Collaborate closely with business development teams to execute relationship management strategies effectively.
  • Stay informed about client account activities across the firm and act as a key escalation point for client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate service review meetings and assist in client training, sharing valuable market insights.
  • Engage in prospecting new clients within similar industries or segments.
  • Work collaboratively with other Relationship Managers and utilize firm-wide resources to address client needs proactively.
  • Ensure all client onboarding and risk management activities are conducted thoroughly.
  • In certain markets, manage relationships with regulatory bodies directly.
  • Analyze the business environment of assigned clients, including industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Achieve organic growth targets within your assigned client portfolio.
  • Manage the overall profitability of small, non-complex client relationships.
  • Receive ongoing coaching and guidance from senior team members.
  • No direct reports; may oversee client services in some regions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Advanced or graduate degree is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with our product offerings, including Payments, Cash Management, Liquidity, FX, and Trade, is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in Relationship Management, Business Development, or Account Management is preferred.
