We are looking for a Senior Vice President, Business Risk Management to become an integral part of our Chief Administrative Office (CAO) First Line of Defense (1LOD) team. This team is responsible for overseeing control management within the CAO, and this position will serve as an Embedded Control Manager (ECM) focusing on enhancing our Global Workplace Experience.

Your Impact:

  • Oversee processes that identify, document, assess, and mitigate risks while ensuring the effectiveness of the control environment for Workplace Experience.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with Risk Management, Compliance, and Audit teams to ensure timely completion of risk-related deliverables.
  • Coordinate and manage engagements with internal and external audit teams.
  • Monitor Workplace Experience activities, ensuring adherence to the risk management framework.
  • Evaluate controls to ensure effective design and operational sustainability.
  • Conduct reviews and assessments to identify gaps and recommend process improvements.
  • Develop and track Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to measure control performance against established thresholds.
  • Lead risk and control meetings to report on risk status and promote a culture of effective risk management.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, establishing yourself as a subject matter expert in risk management practices.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for streamlining and automating control processes.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Operational Risk Management processes, including risk and control assessments and internal controls development.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Risk Management Framework and technology risk processes.
  • Proven ability to work independently under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills, with experience in leading workshops and presenting to senior audiences.
  • Experience in coordinating internal audit examinations is preferred.
  • 10-12 years of relevant experience in enterprise risk management or internal audit, preferably in a large financial institution.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
