The Strategic Sales Leader is a pioneering position at Soundstripe, providing a unique opportunity to shape, develop, and expand our internal sales operations to support a swiftly growing enterprise in the music technology sector. You will establish and nurture relationships with enterprise clients, drive revenue growth, and oversee the creation of innovative B2B product solutions based on customer insights and feedback.

Your Impact

In the role of Strategic Sales Leader, you will possess the sophistication and humility necessary for a solution-driven sales approach in the SaaS landscape. Your previous experiences will reflect your ability to forge enduring relationships with both your team and enterprise clients. You are passionate about empowering others and excel at addressing customer challenges with tailored solutions. You have the capability to develop and document new processes while continuously enhancing them based on insights gained from customers and sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth and achieve annual sales objectives through new B2B client acquisition and contract renewals.
  • Act as a player-coach throughout the sales process, from initial outreach to closing deals.
  • Inspire, motivate, and support the development of sales team members to foster their professional growth and enhance company performance.
  • Own and refine Soundstripe's enterprise sales strategy and tactical execution, including defining value propositions, crafting messaging strategies, and developing ideal customer profiles (ICPs).
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to create targeted outbound strategies and lead generation initiatives.
  • Enhance Soundstripe's product demonstration capabilities by understanding how to effectively communicate value and address customer pain points.
  • Maintain open communication with business leaders regarding pipeline management, opportunities, performance metrics, and recommended actions.
  • Work with Customer Success, Engineering, and Product teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Ensure operational excellence while driving the business in a controlled, sales-focused manner that encourages innovation.

Qualifications

You have a proven track record as a top performer in B2B and/or SMB SaaS sales, with 1 to 3 years of experience in sales management leading a high-performing team. You are skilled in developing and refining sales strategies within a SaaS environment, including crafting positioning statements, outbound messaging, demo presentations, and competitor analysis.

You possess hands-on experience with lead generation strategies and tactics, including account-based marketing tools, and have collaborated closely with marketing teams to drive SaaS prospecting and sales. You are methodical in applying a recognized sales methodology to nurture, negotiate, and close deals effectively.

Who Will Thrive in This Role
