Strategic HR Partner

Position Summary:
The Strategic HR Partner plays a crucial role in establishing, enforcing, and assessing compliant human resource policies, procedures, and best practices. This position is instrumental in identifying and executing long-term strategic talent management objectives while ensuring alignment between team members and management with the overarching business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with senior leadership to define the organization's long-term vision and objectives, identifying ways to support this vision through effective talent management strategies.
- Offers expertise and hands-on assistance in various areas, including workforce planning, onboarding processes, employee retention, team member relations, management coaching, performance management, and organizational change initiatives.
- Researches, develops, and implements competitive compensation structures, benefits packages, performance appraisal systems, and employee incentive programs.
- Provides guidance and leadership to the Talent Management and Talent Acquisition teams, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Acts as a key resource in the development, administration, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough and objective investigations as necessary.
- Maintains a comprehensive understanding of legal requirements related to employee management, ensuring compliance and minimizing legal risks.
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual coaching requirements for executives.
- Partners with leadership to promote employee engagement initiatives aimed at enhancing morale, productivity, and retention.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in collaboration with the Talent Management and Talent Acquisition teams to devise solutions, programs, and policies.
- Participates in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure effectiveness and follow-up on training objectives.
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of various human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational assessment, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and applicable employment laws.
- Proven experience in government contracting environments.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to comprehend the organization’s structure, roles, qualifications, and compensation practices.
- Proficient time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Ability to perform prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree or advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Certification from HRCI as PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM as SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP is preferred or an advanced degree in a related field.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel may be necessary.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
