Strategic Acquisition and Contract Specialist

Strider Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Acquisition/Contract Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our business growth strategy, you will play a crucial part in analyzing acquisition opportunities, providing valuable knowledge and insights into the government contracting process, managing contract negotiations, and driving successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Acquisition Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of our annual operating plan by analyzing acquisition opportunities and providing strategic recommendations.
- Contract Management: Manage the execution processes of our Federal contracts, from inception to signature, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Contract Monitoring: Monitor contract execution, tracking funding and modifications for Strider's government contracts, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Compliance and Governance: Partner with our General Counsel to review contracts and proposals for compliance with internal policies and provide guidance on statutory and regulatory requirements governed by the FAR/DFAR/DoD Directive 5000 series.
- Solicitation Management: Monitor government platforms, such as TradewindsAI, Needopedia, and others, for solicitations that Strider can compete for.
- Contract Negotiation: Develop and review solicitations, proposals, and bids in response to government RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, and negotiate and execute contracts, contract modifications, teaming agreements, subcontracting agreements, and consortium agreements.
- Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Knowledge: Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of the FAR guidelines and U.S. Government contracting.
- Designations: At least one of the following designations: Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), or Defense Acquisitions Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification.
- Federal Contracting Experience: Federal or military contracting experience, with deep knowledge of and experience with GSA schedules.
- Acquisition Lifecycle Experience: Experience conducting a wide range of acquisition lifecycle activities, including acquisition planning, contract awarding and closeout activities, source selection, firm fixed-price contracts, cost and price analysis and negotiation experience, cost plus and cost reimbursement.
- Soft Skills: Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, customer service, analytic and critical thinking skills, and attention to administrative detail.
- Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
