Job Overview

The Human Resources Executive will strategize, oversee, and enhance the policies, initiatives, and personnel of the Human Resources (HR) division, ensuring adherence to legal standards and alignment with the organization's mission and talent strategy.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new personnel within the department.
  • Supervises the daily operations of the HR division.
  • Conducts timely and constructive performance assessments.
  • Manages employee discipline and termination in accordance with organizational policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with executive leadership to grasp the organization's objectives and strategies regarding staffing, recruitment, and retention.
  • Plans, directs, develops, coordinates, and executes policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's HR compliance and strategic needs.
  • Administers or supervises the administration of HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes, performance management, and training.
  • Identifies staffing and recruitment needs; formulates and implements best practices for hiring and talent management.
  • Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends, reviewing reports and metrics from the HR information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; reviews and updates policies to maintain compliance.
  • Stays informed of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR and employment law; communicates changes in policy and practice to senior management.
  • Implements innovative technologies to improve HR processes and overall organizational efficiency.
  • Ensures compliance with Service Contract Agreements (SCA) and oversees related policies and procedures.
  • Leads and manages HR operations across multiple subsidiaries, ensuring consistency and alignment.
  • Develops and manages the departmental budget.
  • Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for HR personnel.
  • Performs additional duties as necessary.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in human resource management is required.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is highly preferred.
