Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Measure and record vital signs, initiate cannulation, and perform patient observations.
  • Set up and operate hemodialysis machines, ensuring accurate and efficient treatment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, understanding their unique needs and preferences.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current certification from BONENT, NNCC, NNCO, or other state-approved certification.
  • Desire to care for people and comfort working around blood and needles.
  • BLS/CPR certification required for experienced Patient Care Specialists.
