Position Overview

The Microsoft National Security Group is seeking experienced Account Technology Strategists (ATS) to support our clients in achieving their business objectives. As an ATS, you will play a pivotal role in guiding customers towards the adoption of Microsoft’s innovative products and services.

In this dynamic position, you will collaborate with a world-class team, engaging with top industry professionals. Your expertise will be crucial in leading One-Microsoft Account Teams that cater to our Intelligence Community agency clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field AND 7+ years of experience in technical consulting, consultative selling, or a related field.

Security Requirements

The ideal candidate must possess an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Compliance with Microsoft and government security screening requirements is essential for this role.

Clearance Verification

Successful verification of the stated security clearance is required to meet federal government customer requirements.

Citizenship Verification

This position necessitates verification of U.S. citizenship due to legal restrictions associated with government agency customers.

Role Responsibilities

The ATS will engage with both mission and IT decision-makers to understand their challenges and articulate how Microsoft can support their IT and mission objectives. You will influence customer-specific technology requirements, driving the adoption of Microsoft solutions across various applications.

Collaboration with the Account Team and Microsoft Engineering will be essential in developing and executing business strategies and sales plans. Familiarity with government regulations and policies relevant to the US Intelligence Community is crucial.

Leadership and Communication

The ATS will serve in a highly visible role, requiring extensive experience with strategic organizations. You should be comfortable presenting to diverse audiences and possess a solid understanding of Microsoft solutions and technologies.

Competitive Analysis

Articulating the differentiators between competitive solutions and Microsoft’s strategy will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Leadership in the acquisition process, including technical writing for government procurement responses, will also be required.

Cloud Strategy

You will be responsible for communicating Microsoft’s Cloud Strategy, encompassing our Datacenter hosted, hybrid, and on-premises solutions.
