Position Overview

The National Security Group at Microsoft is actively seeking experienced Account Technology Strategists (ATS). In this role, you will communicate how Microsoft can assist our clients in reaching their organizational objectives and guide them in the investment and adoption of our products and services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field AND a minimum of 7 years of experience in technical consulting, consultative selling, or related fields.

Security Requirements

The ideal candidate must possess an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph. Meeting Microsoft and government security screening requirements is essential for this role.

Role Responsibilities

The ATS will engage with both mission and IT decision-makers to comprehend their challenges and architecture, articulating how Microsoft can facilitate their IT and mission objectives. You will influence customer-specific technology requirements, leading to the adoption of Microsoft solutions in strategic applications.

As part of the Account Team, you will collaborate with Microsoft Engineering to develop strategies and execute business and sales plans alongside program management, sales, technical support, and delivery consultants. Familiarity with government regulations and architectures associated with the US Intelligence Community is essential.

Leadership and Communication

This role requires a professional leader who is comfortable presenting to large groups and industry personnel. You will regularly communicate the Microsoft Cyber narrative both on-premises and in the Hyperscale Cloud, addressing various technical audiences.

Competitive Analysis

Describing the differentiators between competitive solutions and Microsoft’s strategy will be a key aspect of your daily responsibilities. You will also lead and contribute to the technical writing process during all phases of government procurement responses.

Cloud Strategy Articulation

Effectively communicate Microsoft’s Cloud Strategy, encompassing all aspects of our hosted, hybrid, and on-premises solutions.
