Position Overview: Peterson Technologies is on the lookout for a seasoned Security Compliance Manager (FSO/CSSO) tasked with ensuring adherence to national security protocols for our organization and all authorized personnel. The Security Compliance Manager will oversee and manage all aspects related to compliance with national security regulations, including the NISPOM and directives from various government entities. A robust background in program security across diverse clients is highly desirable to navigate the complexities of unique clearance processes. This role is primarily office-based with an option for limited remote work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily security operations and ensure compliance with Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) and NISP/NISPOM for a secured facility.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of the facility's National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM) and guarantee the implementation of ICDs.
  • Manage security program compliance, including overseeing NISS facility profiles, submitting change condition packages, and responding to FCL requests.
  • Investigate and report Security Violations and Incident Reports in accordance with applicable government regulations.
  • Prepare the facility for annual audits and vulnerability assessments conducted by various government agencies.
  • Ensure adherence to NISPOM and other relevant policies and directives, including applicable ICDs.
  • Administer personnel security systems for clearances and periodic reinvestigations through DISS/NISS and other client-specific methods.
  • Coordinate and deliver annual security training and education in line with NISPOM, client requirements, and company policies.
  • Provide training and orientation to employees on security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government and client regulations.
  • Maintain relationships with multiple DoD Agency Representatives, DCSA Representatives, and FSO/CSSOs from prime contractors and subcontractors.
  • Manage personnel security records and Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
  • Implement mitigation strategies to reduce incidents.
  • Ensure data compliance across multiple DISS accounts.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Active DoD Clearance required.
  • 5+ years of experience as a CSSO/FSO in an active secured environment.
  • Familiarity with DISS and NISS updates.
  • Proficient in industry programs such as DISS and NISS.
  • Experience with DCSA compliant Insider Threat programs.
  • Experience collaborating with various IC Agencies.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word and Excel (capable of managing complex spreadsheets), and Microsoft Teams (O365).
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and adept at multitasking while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing DD254's at all stages to identify security requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Experience reviewing security documents, including e-QIP and IC security processing packages, for accuracy and completeness.
  • eCPRL experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion of MPO CSSO course.
  • Non-Possessing Facility Security Officer Certification.
