Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to take on the role of IT Systems Administrator. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the upkeep, troubleshooting, and enhancement of our organization's IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

System Maintenance and Support:

  • Assist in the setup, configuration, maintenance, and compliance of hardware and software systems, focusing on Microsoft 365 enterprise suite administration.
  • Provide technical assistance to end-users, resolving hardware and software-related challenges while adhering to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Conduct regular system monitoring and maintenance tasks to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve email flow issues.

Network Administration:

  • Support the management and upkeep of network infrastructure, primarily utilizing UniFi.
  • Help troubleshoot network connectivity problems and ensure a secure and dependable network environment.

User Account Management:

  • Assist in user account provisioning and de-provisioning tasks.
  • Help manage user access controls and permissions.

Backup and Recovery:

  • Engage in data backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution.

Security Compliance:

  • Collaborate in the implementation and maintenance of security policies and procedures, including Microsoft Endpoint Management & Defender.
  • Assist in monitoring and responding to security incidents.
  • Drive security patch management to ensure compliance with SLAs.

Documentation:

  • Create and update documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Maintain an inventory of hardware and software assets.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT Administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and security principles.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to learn and stay informed about industry trends and technologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, Jira Cloud, Confluence, Proofpoint PPS, Vonage Business VoIP, Zscaler Internet Access, Tenable/Nessus.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Exposure to backup and recovery solutions.
  • Proficient documentation and case management skills.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $70K-85K
- 4% 401K match
- 3 weeks of PTO upon starting
