Job Overview

South Denver OBGYN is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Operations Manager to enhance our team.

As a vital part of our physician-led network, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare services in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Core Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee administrative and operational functions, ensuring the continuous improvement of processes and personnel. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Key Duties Include:

  1. Process Evaluation and Enhancement: Regularly assess and refine administrative processes, implementing new policies and procedures as necessary to enhance operational efficiency.
  2. Site Oversight: Conduct regular visits to various practice locations to ensure optimal operations and provide necessary support.
  3. Effective Communication: Facilitate clear and timely communication among all staff levels, addressing issues constructively and promoting a collaborative environment.
  4. Staff Management: Collaborate with team members to develop staffing strategies and schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and support for patient care.
  5. Financial Oversight: Manage the financial aspects of the practice, reviewing reports to monitor performance and ensure fiscal responsibility.
  6. Patient Relations: Address patient concerns with a focus on excellent service and resolution, acting as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers.
  7. Leadership: Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive workplace culture and high employee morale.
  8. Meeting Coordination: Organize and participate in regular meetings to discuss operational matters and strategic objectives.
  9. Facility Management: Oversee the management of practice facilities and purchasing activities to ensure a conducive working environment.
  10. Marketing and Community Engagement: Participate in marketing initiatives and public relations efforts to promote the practice.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of an Associate's Degree in a related field, along with 2-5 years of managerial experience. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in family medicine, pediatrics, or healthcare administration.
  • Bilingual capabilities.
  • Familiarity with practice management systems.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration is preferred.
