We are currently looking for a dynamic and strategic Senior Marketing Manager for Product Strategy to join our expanding team in North America (preferably on Eastern Standard Time).

In this vital role, you will be instrumental in propelling the success of your product line. As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will become an authority on your product line and will be tasked with crafting and implementing comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategies with a strong emphasis on customer focus. Reporting directly to the Director of Product Marketing, you will utilize market insights to gain a competitive advantage and build robust cross-functional collaborations to meet ambitious growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Becoming the authority on your product line's ideal customer profile (ICP), industry verticals, and buyer personas. Thoroughly understanding and documenting the buyer's journey, including their information sources and the motivations behind their decisions. You will drive enhancements to our sales and marketing processes to align with these insights, ensuring we remain ahead of industry trends.
  • Analyzing the Competitive Landscape by gaining expertise in our competitors and their positioning, continuously innovating to maintain our competitive edge.
  • Collaborating closely with product management, sales leadership, enablement, and marketing teams to ensure market readiness and develop compelling value propositions and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas.
  • Planning and executing the launches of new products and enhancements to existing offerings, managing the cross-functional implementation of these plans while setting high standards for success.
  • Leading thought leadership initiatives for your assigned products, including public speaking engagements and written content, positioning our brand as a market innovator.
  • Supporting our sales channels by training them on the challenges we address for our buyers and users; creating internal tools and external materials and instructing them on their effective use.
  • Engaging with JAGGAER customers to comprehend their challenges and business drivers that led them to adopt our solutions. Documenting their experiences with our offerings and the benefits they have achieved since implementation.

You engage with customers to capture and communicate their success stories related to your product.
  • Strategic Thinker: You have a sharp understanding of the B2B SaaS landscape and excel at identifying and interpreting market trends, analyst insights, customer successes, and competitive dynamics. You effectively communicate these insights to diverse stakeholders and inform product line strategy, driving innovation and setting industry standards.
  • Practical Problem Solver: You tackle challenges with a pragmatic and results-oriented approach, simplifying complex solutions into clear customer-centric value propositions.
  • Proactive Collaborator: You anticipate needs, take initiative, and thrive in a collaborative environment, building strong relationships with internal and external partners, including marketing, sales, product, enablement, and leadership teams.
  • Data-Driven Marketer: You have experience in analyzing metrics, leveraging data, establishing KPIs, and utilizing insights to optimize campaigns and measure growth and success.
  • Creative Content Developer: You excel at crafting targeted content that educates, engages, and resonates with your audience.
  • Storytelling Expert and Market Advocate: You create compelling narratives that highlight customer success stories and differentiate our solutions from competitors. You are an effective public speaker and skilled in enablement, driving thought leadership in the market.
Position Requirements

What You Bring:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in B2B SaaS Product Marketing, including developing marketing strategies and supporting new product launches, product line updates, and release cycles.
  • Experience in Procure-to-Pay, Source-to-Pay, and Supply Chain technologies is essential.
  • Proficiency in productivity software such as Microsoft Office, particularly in creating impactful PowerPoint presentations and conducting analyses in Excel.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment, adapting to evolving market or product demands.
  • Strong planning, written, and verbal communication skills. A confident public speaker, comfortable addressing large senior audiences, and a proficient writer.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills to engage with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with JAGGAER's product portfolio and Autonomous Commerce solutions is a plus.
  • Experience in developing strategic and creative elements that support GTM activities is advantageous.
