As a pivotal member of the Commercial Analytics team, the Senior Manager, Oncology Commercial Insights will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of brand management initiatives within the Oncology sector. This position demands a robust foundation in data analytics and a keen ability to translate insights into actionable business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate closely with Oncology Business Unit leadership to define and execute a comprehensive portfolio of Commercial Analytics tasks and deliverables.
- Develop and implement strategic analytics frameworks that align with brand and business objectives.
- Identify and apply effective customer segmentation and targeting methodologies across various marketing and sales channels.
- Proactively uncover opportunities through advanced commercial analytics, including:
- Physician, Account, and Patient Segmentations
- Patient Adherence and Persistence Metrics
- Brand Performance Evaluation
- Advanced Analytical Techniques (e.g., Marketing Mix Modeling)
- Execute targeted customer engagement strategies and scenario planning to optimize resource allocation for brand performance.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor product performance, ensuring robust data collection and adherence to sound business practices.
- Conduct in-depth analyses utilizing both internal and external real-world data to derive insights into disease and competitive landscapes, enhancing patient care and fulfilling business requirements.
- Transform complex datasets into meaningful insights through hands-on statistical analysis and data manipulation.
- Perform ad hoc analyses and secondary research to reveal market dynamics and competitive trends.
- Drive efficiencies and enhance capabilities through innovative analytical solutions and process automation.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies, collaborating with stakeholders to create analytics-ready datasets.
- Work alongside primary market research teams to generate and present cohesive quantitative and qualitative insights.
- Partner with forecasting teams to provide data-driven assumptions based on comprehensive insights.
- Collaborate with Global Strategic Insights to share best practices and develop cross-geographical capabilities.
Qualifications:
We seek candidates with the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business or scientific discipline.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably within the biotech or pharmaceutical sectors, or in a leading global management consulting firm.
- Proficiency in marketing fundamentals and analytical frameworks applicable to business challenges.
- Experience with analytical and data management tools (e.g., SQL, Snowflake, SAS, R, Python) and reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with the drug development and commercialization processes.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical secondary data sources (e.g., patient/claims data).
