Your Collaborative Team

You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to redefining how Cisco collaborates with service providers and partners to develop engaging managed services and as-a-service offerings tailored for Security architectures.

This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the Service Provider sales teams, shaping and executing strategies for Security infrastructure, both physical and virtual, and creating outbound programs to generate demand for our products and solutions. A solid background in the IT industry and familiarity with Security architectures is essential.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the chance to design, implement, and expand a burgeoning business within Cisco. Your work will involve close collaboration with leading security technologies to create compelling offerings, develop Sales Go-To-Market strategies, and drive significant initiatives with our clients.

The service creation team is committed to long-term strategy and effective execution. You will work alongside cross-functional teams in sales, product management, operations, and marketing to advance key security strategies and identify opportunities within Cisco's Service Providers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with various Providers to support essential sales and business activities in a complex environment.
  • Ensuring timely updates on product and purchasing models for partners across relevant technology and SASE architecture areas.
  • Collaborating with internal Cisco teams to build service offerings and develop launch content with partners.
  • Working with partners to establish commercial models based on service packages and SLAs.
  • Identifying and anticipating potential technology challenges and pitfalls in service offerings.
  • Creating marketing campaigns and sales enablement programs in partnership with various teams.
  • Advocating for partner service offerings and relaying partner feedback to the Business Unit and Cisco Sales organization.
  • Managing program governance for service offering launches.
  • Collaborating with sales, client executives, and partner delivery teams to achieve business outcomes.

Who You Are

You possess a background in high-tech sales or strategy management consulting. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A deep understanding of Partner (SP/ITSP/MSP) business models and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Awareness of MSP industry trends, market potential, Cisco products, competitive dynamics, and the capacity to evaluate their relevance to partner catalogs and security service offerings.
  • The ability to act as a Trusted Advisor, conceptualizing comprehensive service offerings and developing compelling business cases with partners.

You are a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses the interpersonal skills necessary to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively. Your strong executive presence, teamwork abilities, and communication skills enable you to influence senior leaders across a complex organization.

You are a customer-facing expert focused on business development, adept at delivering and orchestrating Managed Services offers with large Service Providers. Your experience includes:

  • Proficiency in the Service Provider routing portfolio and industry-standard methodologies.
  • A track record of solution selling and successfully converting engagements into solutions and service sales.
  • The ability to engage and build relationships with clients, presenting complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

Required Expertise

  • Sales Expertise: 5+ years of experience proposing solutions that address client business challenges using both Cisco and third-party solutions/services.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge in one or more architectures offered by large telcos and MSPs (e.g., SD-WAN, SASE, Security, Campus Networking).
  • Industry Expertise: Familiarity with managed service provider business practices and ITIL service management is a plus.
  • Delivery Expertise: 10+ years of proven experience in successfully delivering projects that exceed client expectations.

This position offers flexibility in location within the U.S., with travel requirements varying up to 25%.
