The Global Services Marketing team is looking for a product marketing manager to guide the brand and customer marketing strategy for Red Hat Training and Certification. In this role you will work closely with business stakeholders and various marketing functions to develop customer-focused messaging, create materials for use in the field, and ensure optimal positioning in the market for lead generation. This role is both focused on B2B and B2C efforts and contributes to overall growth, booking, and revenue targets.

What you will do

  • Build awareness and brand value of Red Hat Training and Red Hat Certification across Red Hat channels with analyst materials, surveys, quotes, and customer stories
  • Lead the marketing launch strategies for platform enhancements and new features that are globally available
  • Create content and key assets for use in the field that tell the story of Training and Certification including blogs, social copy, messaging, newsletters, kits, and other collateral
  • Manage the marketing of key global lead generation offers
  • Support early education programs like Red Hat Academy with global marketing collateral
  • Lead the Red Hat Certified Professional of the Year contest and associated promotion
  • Oversee the production of individual creative projects across internal and external vendors
  • Continuously track success of marketing to define effectiveness and needed improvements

What you will bring

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • Experience developing marketing plans, marketing strategy, and targeted messaging
  • Writing skills and interest in creating content
  • Ability to translate product and technical information into compelling value propositions, messaging, and impactful content
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to successfully guide projects involving various internal groups and multiple levels of management
  • Solid project management, planning, and organization skills with great attention to detail
  • Motivated, collaborative, and customer focused
  • Ability and desire to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced team environment, adapting quickly and succeeding in changing environments
  • Solid history of metrics-driven marketing to measure effectiveness, continuous improvement, and impact on revenue

The salary range for this position is $94, $150, Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
