Sales Engineer for Technical Solutions

Kao USA, Inc. is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Sales Engineer to become a vital part of our dynamic team.
As a leading provider of commercial laundry solutions, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional chemical products and services to uniform and linen rental enterprises across North America.
In this remote role, the Sales Engineer will engage with clients in their designated territory, offering innovative technical solutions to enhance plant operations. This position involves identifying sales opportunities through thorough data analysis and fostering enduring relationships with management at various levels within client organizations.
This pivotal role represents the core of our company, as the exceptional service we provide is fundamental to our continued growth.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical or mechanical expertise, ideally with prior field service experience, along with excellent technological skills, interpersonal abilities, and adept problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Promoting and selling the complete product range to existing clients.
Building a key sales prospect list, establishing relationships, and acquiring new clients.
Ensuring adequate sales coverage in your territory.
Delivering and maintaining high levels of service, maintenance, and communication for accounts within your area.
Installing and configuring Kao chemical dosing equipment to integrate with clients' washing systems.
Leading the planning and execution of new installations and/or conversions in your territory.
Maintaining all company-provided equipment in optimal working condition.
Operating within the assigned expense budget.
Collecting overdue accounts receivable, where applicable.
Avoiding rush orders of products.
Submitting all reports punctually.

- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year College/University in Business, Engineering, Mechanical, or a related field, along with 1-2 years of industry-related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Military background is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and technical/mechanical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, as well as internet and order processing software.
- Ability to act swiftly, accurately, and manage a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
