The Role

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be the primary representative of the revenue generation team, driving solution selling through thought leadership across the sales cycle. By leveraging a combination of technical acumen and sales expertise, you will utilize solution selling methodologies to effectively position and differentiate the Innovapptive platform.

Building strong relationships with prospects and clients is essential, as being recognized as a trusted advisor is crucial. Collaborating with colleagues, prospects, and partners, you will develop transformative solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist sales teams in qualifying enterprise customer needs and conducting pre-demo analyses.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, both standard and customized, to prospects and existing clients, in-person and via web conference.
  • Document prospect/customer requirements and collaborate with sales to draft solution proposals that address business needs.
  • Create necessary documentation, presentations, and product demonstrations to educate clients on Innovapptive's functionalities and value propositions.
  • Engage with strategic accounts, either in a support or leadership capacity.
  • Provide mentorship and training to peers and colleagues within the organization.
  • Scope and deliver Proof of Concept/Pilot engagements with potential clients.
  • Respond to Request for Information/Proposal documents.
  • Support marketing initiatives, including user conferences, trade shows, and webinars.
  • Stay informed on competitive analyses and understand differentiators between Innovapptive and its competitors.
  • Conduct transition briefings in collaboration with Sales Personnel and Professional Services to communicate commitments and expectations.
  • Act as the Innovapptive subject matter expert during executive briefings and marketing events.
  • Understand the sales process in relation to Innovapptive's overarching strategies and objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 7 years of substantial Pre-sales or Solution Engineering experience in Enterprise Asset Management or Supply Chain.
  • Exceptional client-facing communication skills, capable of articulating product functionality, technical design, and limitations to both executive-level clients and technical experts.
  • Strong sales orientation.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
