Position Overview

The Child Activity Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for children in the Kids Club at UFC Gym. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and adhering to the professional standards expected of team members.

Key Responsibilities:Child Supervision
  • Oversee the activities of children in the Kids Club area, ensuring they remain within designated spaces.
  • Provide care for children, including contacting parents or guardians as needed for behavioral or personal matters.
  • Engage children in various games and approved activities to foster a fun atmosphere.
  • Administer first aid as necessary, following company protocols.
  • Maintain a friendly, caring demeanor when interacting with children and their families.
Customer Care
  • Ensure the Kids Club area is kept clean and meets established standards.
  • Regularly check that all toys and equipment are sanitized and safe for use.
  • Adhere to safety procedures to guarantee the well-being of all children in the Kids Club.
  • Report any incidents or concerns to the Kids Club Supervisor or Operations Manager.
  • Address member feedback and concerns appropriately.
  • Notify management of any health-related issues concerning children, so that necessary alerts can be issued.
Administrative Duties
  • Ensure all parents receive and understand the Kids Club policies.
  • Confirm that all members utilizing the Kids Club have completed the necessary payment.
  • Verify that parents or guardians have signed the Kids Club Agreement and emergency information forms.
  • Ensure that the individual checking in the child is listed on the Kids Club Agreement.
  • Facilitate the check-in and check-out process for children, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
  • Collect payment for Kids Club services as required.
Qualifications:Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Experience in child care or related fields.
  • Demonstrated patience and understanding when interacting with children and their families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Energetic and approachable personality.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CPR/AED certification.
  • State-specific certifications may be required.
Experience:
  • Preferred 6-12 months of experience in child care settings.
