Position Overview:

The IT Project Coordinator is tasked with steering and enhancing initiatives across various dimensions of operational activities to guarantee that project scope and timelines are effectively managed. This role will spearhead projects while possessing a comprehensive understanding of the roles and responsibilities within business operations and technology. Additionally, the IT Project Coordinator will actively engage in refining Project Management Office (PMO) methodologies and practices to bolster our overall project delivery capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary contact between IT and business stakeholders for designated projects and requests. Contribute insights to assist in the assessment, prioritization, and organization of significant initiatives into a cohesive roadmap and portfolio, considering inter-project dependencies.
  • Collaborate with PMO leadership to define, implement, and enhance PMO processes and best practices.
  • Deliver hands-on leadership in program and project management, encompassing project initiation, scheduling, oversight, and closure.
  • Lead change management efforts by forecasting, assessing, and alleviating the impact of changes while fostering business engagement to enhance solution adoption.
  • Ensure thorough meeting preparation, manage follow-up tasks, document issues, and escalate concerns to PMO leadership and project stakeholders as necessary.
  • Facilitate project-related discussions to ensure requirements are clearly understood, properly documented, and effectively addressed by the technological solutions.
  • Plan and coordinate the necessary internal and external resources (human or otherwise).
  • Evaluate and report on project performance and progress to project participants and Monster Energy leadership.
  • Oversee project budgets and expenditures, including regular budget versus actuals reporting.
  • Lead or engage in the selection and management of third-party vendors as required by specific projects.
Position Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of practical experience in project management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint are essential), SharePoint, Visio, Teams, with familiarity in Atlassian's Jira and Confluence being advantageous.
  • Capability to create impactful presentations and deliver them to large audiences.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Able to lead project teams of varying sizes and distributed locations.
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (extensive project management experience may substitute for specific degree requirements).
  • PMP Certification is a plus.

Compensation: Base Pay Range: $69,675 - $99,535
