POSITION SUMMARY

The HVAC Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in outlining and establishing the project parameters for each assignment. This position is tasked with overseeing the project schedule, facilitating communication with contractors, and monitoring essential performance metrics. The project coordinator will ensure that the project adheres to timelines and budget constraints. This role will inspire team members to achieve both individual and collective objectives. Additionally, the coordinator will serve as a bridge between the project team and senior management, preparing and delivering progress updates to guarantee alignment with organizational objectives.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

  • Organize and plan tasks to optimize crew efficiency by implementing seamless production practices.
  • Create LookAhead schedules to enhance equipment utilization, ensuring readiness and operational efficiency.
  • Comprehend the complete Scope of Work (SOW) and project specifications: Estimate, labor-hour budget, and production rates; communicate detailed plans to the Management Team.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations throughout the project, collaborating with the Safety Manager as necessary.
  • Conduct quality control checks to meet high QC/QA standards.
  • Coordinate labor and materials to be available on-site in accordance with the established LookAhead schedule.
  • Oversee 60-80 projects annually.
  • Monitor progress and implement adjustments as required.
  • Guarantee that all activities are executed per the agreed-upon plans and specifications.
  • Maintain an organized work environment and job site, ensuring all branded vehicles and equipment are kept neat and orderly.
  • Accurately report hours worked, production, discrepancies in plans, and completed quantities to the supervisor.
  • Submit weekly reports on production hours, plan discrepancies, and strategies for teams under management.
  • Foster professional relationships with owners, engineers, and team members on-site.
  • Verify and categorize all receipts, tickets, and invoices weekly to ensure accurate tracking of job-related expenses; assist with monthly billing through reporting and reviewing completed quantities.
  • Provide daily updates on achievements, tasks, and activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required; relevant experience considered.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction (Required).
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience (Required).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers, reach, talk, hear, climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Position may require travel to various sites to oversee multiple projects.
