Job Summary

The Account Manager is the primary point of contact between Nidec Automotive Motors and key customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secure new business opportunities with key customer accounts
  • Maintain and expand existing business with customer accounts
  • Liaise between customer demands and plant demands
  • Work with the Account Coordinators to manage sales forecasts and resolve commercial issues with key customer accounts
  • Resolve all issues to the complete satisfaction of the customer
  • Create a database of customer knowledge to inform sales strategy
  • Responsible for commercial negotiation related to delivery and quality issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Basic knowledge of all business disciplines
  • Strong math aptitude
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
  • Ability to effectively manage time and resources
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Accountable for actions
Compensation

Up to $110K annually dependent on qualifications and experience
