Director/Senior Director, Business Development

Meet has partnered with a pioneering rare disease biotech to fill a key leadership role. This position will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for spearheading market research, outreach, and negotiation for potential in-licensing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships to support the company's long-term development goals.
  • Lead sourcing and negotiation for in-licensing opportunities for new assets.
  • Structure and negotiate complex deals, including partnerships, in-licensing agreements, and collaborations.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in biotech/pharma, with 5+ years in a Business Development function.
  • Hands-on negotiation experience for partnership/in-licensing agreements.
  • Experience working in rare disease is highly preferred.
  • Mix of small biotech and large pharma experience is highly preferred.
  • MBA is highly preferred.
