Your Role and Responsibilities

As a client-facing, consultative sales expert, you will embody IBM's commitment to being indispensable to its clients. Your role will involve actively engaging with clients to cultivate trust and credibility, assisting them in expanding their businesses by addressing both strategic and tactical challenges through IBM's esteemed storage solutions.

We are on the lookout for individuals eager to make a significant impact by promoting IBM's storage offerings to clients in the National Market Communications & Financial Services sectors. Your goal will be to sustain and enhance existing revenue streams and client relationships.

To thrive in this role, you must be self-driven, ready to collaborate daily with a diverse group of intelligent and motivated professionals, and adaptable to a dynamic environment where each day presents new challenges.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Delivering industry-focused business solutions to clients across various sectors.
  • Identifying and securing essential resources within IBM to craft optimal solutions for clients.
  • Applying IBM's branding strategies and methodologies to ensure top-tier design and execution.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Proven business acumen relevant to client operations.
  • Expertise in consultative selling, with a deep understanding of client needs and IBM's capabilities.
  • Commercially astute, capable of supporting comprehensive sales engagements with strategic foresight.
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills in intricate environments.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and develop new skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Significant experience in IT Technical Pre-Sales.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% annually.
