We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Scribe Specialist to join our team at Summit Health. As a Medical Scribe Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our healthcare professionals by accurately documenting patient information and facilitating efficient care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document patient information, including medical history, diagnoses, and treatment plans, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Facilitate communication between healthcare professionals, patients, and families to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Assist with data entry, charting, and other administrative tasks to support clinical operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and implement process improvements.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills.
